Of course in comemrcials I've seen Burger King never mentions how much the people actually liked the burger. Just that they liked it better than the Big Mac. I do know in at least one extended version of the commercial, they ask the guy "do you like the Whopper or Seal meat better?" He prefers seal meat. I think the unspoken assumption is you can bring a primitive to civilization but you can't make him appreciate it. My unspoken assumption is if they asked him if he enjoyed a potato or a Whopper better he might choose the potato. Particularly later that night when his virgin digestive system also gets introduced to the wonder that is the whopper. I couldn't bring myself to slavishly watch this one but there seems to be a lot of shots of people struggling to grab the monstrosity that is a whopper, but not many reaction shots after the first bite.

I think I might like dog piss incrementally better than cat piss. I'm not going out of my way to chug a glass.

Yeah, not too many shots of people smiling after they tasted it. :-)

As I recall, you were a Burger King fan when we lived together. You convinced me that they had better burgers and fries than Mickey D's.

I still am. Though as of late every Whopper I've gotten has been smothered in mayonnaise.
